Q: How far will you travel to do a job?
A: Although we prefer to stay in San Diego county, we are willing to travel all of California, Arizona, and Nevada.
Q: What type of welding do you specialize in?
A: We specialize in Structural Steel and many types of Pipe Welding
Q: How long have you been in business?
A: SMW is a family owned business founded in 2003 on the simple motto of customer satisfaction. Since then, we have grown to three mobile outfits, each staffed by certified welders who ultimately answer to you, the customer.
Q: What decides the price of my job?
A: In today's market, materials are the driving factor. We will not recommend, buy, or use inferior materials, or substitute a lesser grade material than called for. Quality work, and everyone's safety are fundamental principles, and we will not compromise that. Labor rates are constant throughout the contract, and a written estimate will be provided up front.
Q: Do I need to provide anything?
A: Because we are mobile welders, we are completely self contained. Something to consider however, are things like access to the site. Our trucks must be within a certain number feet of the weld, and depending on the height, a scissor/man lift may be required. My insurance requires a water source. These and other considerations will be discussed prior to providing an estimate.
